Pursuant to §41-16-72 of the Code of Alabama, as amended, the Alabama Department of Corrections requests qualifications from qualified design professionals to provide environmental remediation and abatement services under an Open-End Agreement, on an as needed basis, for the provision of consulting and testing services for mold remediation, asbestos removal, lead-based paint control and abatement, and other environmental hazards at correctional facilities throughout the State of Alabama. The Open-End Agreements will be awarded to one environmental firm and the services will be contracted under both fees and hourly rates in accordance with the Manual of Procedures of the Alabama Building Commission.
